Preliminary result
for the
financial year 2022

On 23.01.2023 Frauenthal Holding AG published an insider information according to Art 17 Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) with the following content:

According to preliminary financial statements, the Frauenthal Group's revenue in 2022 will be approximately EUR 1.1 billion (previous year 1-12/2021: 937.7 MEUR)1).

EBITDA in 2022 is expected to be in the range of 98 MEUR to 102 MEUR (previous year 1-12/2021: 56.7 MEUR)1).
Group EBIT is expected to be in the range of 66 MEUR to 70 MEUR (previous year 1-12/2021: 24.4 MEUR)1).

Net financial debt is expected to be in the range of -88 MEUR to -92 MEUR. This means almost no change compared to the previous year, due to significantly increased inventories in the Trading Division in order to continue to ensure the usual high availability.

The results are mainly due to the positive - non-cash - deconsolidation effect of the management buy-out of the Frauenthal Powertrain business in the Automotive Division amounting to approximately 18 MEUR, and one-off and seasonal effects in the construction industry for the Trade Division.

The above figures represent unaudited, preliminary consolidated IFRS figures for Frauenthal Holding AG. The annual financial report and the annual report of Frauenthal Holding AG will be published on April 19, 2023.

1) Revenue, EBITDA and EBIT have been adjusted for the sale of the Frauenthal Powertrain division both in the 2022 financial year and in the prior-year figures. The - non-cash - deconsolidation income of approximately 18 MEUR is included in EBITDA and EBIT of the financial year 2022.
